Which dental treatments are available for children?
We provide primary tooth extractions, fillings, pulpotomies, root canal treatment, stainless steel crowns, fissure sealants and space maintainers. The appropriate treatment is planned according to the condition of the child’s teeth and their needs.
Are general anesthesia and sedation offered?
Our clinic does not perform dental treatment under general anesthesia or sedation.
Are children’s examinations and X-rays charged?
Examination and any necessary panoramic X-ray are free for patients aged 4 and over.
Do you examine children under 4?
We also examine children under 4; examinations for this age group are charged.
Baby teeth will fall out anyway; do they need treatment?
Baby teeth contribute to chewing and speech. Decay should be assessed because it may cause pain and infection.
What should I do if my child is afraid?
Speak calmly and simply before the appointment. At the first visit, a suitable approach is chosen to help the child become comfortable.
Does every child receive the same preventive procedure?
No. The risk of decay, age and the condition of the teeth are assessed.
How often should check-ups take place?
The check-up interval is determined by the child’s needs and risk of decay.
At what age should children visit the dentist?
The first dental visit should be planned after the first tooth appears, with an examination no later than the first birthday. This visit provides information about care and preventing decay.
How can we prepare for the first appointment?
Explain the dental visit briefly and calmly. Share your child’s health information and any medicines they take. The scope of the appointment is determined by their age and needs.
