Gum Treatments
Your questions before and after treatment.
Is curettage / root surface cleaning available?
Our clinic provides curettage / root surface cleaning. The treatment plan is determined after a gum examination.
How many visits does curettage / root surface cleaning require?
It is usually performed in 1–2 visits, with the upper and lower jaws planned separately. The number of visits and how treatment is divided may vary with the patient’s ability to cooperate and the circumstances of the procedure.
Are check-ups needed after gum treatment?
A follow-up appointment is scheduled 7–10 days after the procedure. Gum condition and the response to treatment are assessed, and further follow-up is planned individually.

Recurring bleeding may be a sign of gum problems. It should be assessed through an examination.
Is scaling enough?
Depending on how far the disease has progressed, root surface cleaning or additional treatments may be needed.

Temporary sensitivity may occur. Consult your dentist if symptoms persist or increase.
Can the disease return after treatment?
The problem may return if plaque buildup and risk factors continue. Home care and regular follow-up are needed.
