F.A.Q.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Your questions before and after treatment.
Which cosmetic dental treatments does our clinic provide?
We provide bonding (cosmetic fillings), zirconia crowns, E-max crowns, composite veneers and laminate veneers. The choice is based on the condition of the patient’s teeth and their aesthetic expectations.
Does everyone receive the same smile design?
No. Facial structure, existing teeth and expectations vary from person to person.
Is tooth tissue removed for veneers?
Many veneer procedures involve preparing the tooth by removing some tooth tissue. The amount removed and whether the procedure is reversible should be discussed during the examination.
Should gum problems be treated first?
Decay and gum problems need to be assessed before cosmetic procedures.
Is the result permanent?
Restorations may wear over time or need repairs. Care and check-ups are important.
How does smile design begin?
First, your expectations are discussed, and your oral health, bite and existing teeth are assessed. Suitable options, the scope of the procedure and care requirements are discussed together.
What should I share before a cosmetic procedure?
Share the changes you would like, your previous treatments and your health information. Photos may help with the initial consultation; a clinical examination is needed for a definitive plan.
This content is for general information. A definitive diagnosis, treatment plan, duration and cost are determined after a clinical examination and any necessary tests.
