How long does orthodontic treatment take?
The total treatment time varies from patient to patient. An individual plan is determined after examination.
How often are orthodontic check-ups scheduled?
At our clinic, orthodontic check-ups are usually scheduled at monthly intervals. The appointment schedule is tailored to the individual treatment plan.
What is Invisalign®?
It is one of the custom-made, removable clear aligner systems used to move teeth gradually. A suitable treatment plan is determined after an examination.
Are clear aligners suitable for everyone?
Not every bite problem can be treated with the same method. Braces or additional procedures may be more suitable for some patients.
Can I remove my aligners while eating?
Aligners are removed for eating and cleaning your teeth. Follow your dentist’s instructions for daily wear and cleaning.
How many hours a day should aligners be worn?
For Invisalign® treatment, wearing the aligners for 20–22 hours a day is generally recommended. Your dentist determines your individual wearing schedule.
What happens after treatment ends?
Retainers may be recommended to maintain the position of the teeth. Check-ups and consistent use are important.
Who can have clear aligner treatment?
Treatment may be considered for patients with suitable tooth alignment and bite problems. Age alone is not the deciding factor; oral health and the ability to wear aligners consistently also matter. An orthodontic examination determines suitability.
